So it has been a few days, but I am feeling even better about my weight loss goals.  I have decided that I will go back to spinning 3 times a week.  I love it as it is the only exercise I have ever done that I have felt rejuvenated after working out.  Plus, even after two classes, I can feel the difference in my body.  I have gotten better about what I eat during the day, but now I need to focus on controlling my cravings at night.  That is probably when I am the weakest.  I will need to work on that.

I think the key is having a strict schedule.  I have been very lackadaisical about my schedule, always choosing to sleep over anything else.  Therefore, I need to start being strict with myself.

Proposed New Weekday Schedule:
6:30: Wake Up
6:40: Gym - do 20 minutes of running and 20 minutes of weights
7:20: Take dogs out and shower
8:30: Leave for work
2:00: Take a 15 minute walk
9:00: Pack lunch for next day
9:15: Do sit ups and squats
10:00: bed

I am going to ask the security desk at work if there is a way for me to take the stairs up to work.

From now on, no donuts (today's indulgence) and sweets!

I CAN DO THIS!!

The start

Hi Blogisphere,

I am starting this blog to track my progress in my hopes of losing weight for my April 2015 wedding.  Yes, I am only 4 months away and have made NO progress since getting engaged, but I have always been a procrastinator! So here are my goals:

1. Be happy and as stress free as possible for the wedding
2. Tone my arms - they are to flabby
3. Tone down my pooch
4. Lose roughly 20 lbs (even though my dress will then be too big)
5. Thin out my face

I hope to do this by:

1. Working out 5 times a week
2. Eating healthy (generally)
3. No sodas and sweets
4. Focusing on protein in my diet
5. Drinking a ton of water

I need to hold myself accountable and not make any excuses! I can do this!

Thanks for listening,

April Bride
